Tsunehisa Blue #2 Stainless Clad Nakiri 165mm with Black Pakkawood Handle

Tsunehisa is a Tosa-based collective supplying knives from blacksmiths across different regions of Japan. They offer a wide variety of steels and finishes, committed to delivering excellent value with a handmade fit and finish.

These knives feature Blue 2 steel wrapped in stainless cladding and are fitted with a black Pakkawood handle and stainless steel ferrule. The finish assists with food release, and the lightweight design helps to reduce fatigue, making for hours of comfortable and easy chopping.

A nakiri will quickly become your go-to vegetable prep knife. The flat surface along the length of the cutting edge eliminates accordion cuts. At 165mm, this is the most common length for a nakiri globally. Though the reason isn't clear, the smiths' consistent choice suggests a trusted standard.
