Tsunehisa is a Tosa-based collective supplying knives from blacksmiths across the different regions of Japan. Offering a great deal of variety of both steels and finishes under their banner, Tsunehisa is committed to excellent value while providing a handmade fit and finish.

These knives are made with Blue 2 wrapped in a stainless cladding, fitted with a black pakkawood handle and stainless steel ferrule. The finish assists with food release and the light weight helps to reduce fatigue, making for hours of comfortable and easy chopping!

A nakiri will quickly become your go to vegetable prep knife. The flat surface along the length of the cutting edge means you can say goodbye to accordion cuts. At 165mm, this is the most common knife length for a nakiri around the globe. Why? We have no idea, but clearly the smiths know better since any nakiri you will ever hear about, will have a 165mm version.
