Phenomenal Value

This knife punches well above its price, especially on sale. It glides through everything I’ve thrown at it. The handle is extremely comfortable as well. Edge has held up well in the short time I’ve owned. Still cuts tomatoes like new out of the box. The sharpening service add-on produced a very keen edge. If you’re looking for a Sanjo style workhorse that doesn’t wedge, this is it!

Beautiful Monster

This is a great knife at any price. Perfect workhorse, but don't let that fool you- there is plenty of precision here, too. Also beautiful to look at, in a sort of industrial way, and fit and finish are better than anything I've seen in this style- and especially this price range. Mr. Peters' sharpening service gives it a really custom fit edge, and it will do literally anything you could even halfway reasonably need in a kitchen setting. The steel is as advertised- hard AND tough, and easy to work with and care for. Home run, boys!

Great workhorse grind, easily cuts through sweet potatoes or squash with ease.
