Nakagawa Damascus

Beautiful looking knife. Have not used yet, but looking forward to slicing up some picanha and getting the blue's to pop. Also the beautiful wa handle Tony put together for me was amazing. I appreciated his conversations and time he gave me. Will definitely be doing mor business with this shop in the future. Thanks. Carl.

Great cutter...not quite the finish I expected

This knife is a brilliant cutter and I have no doubt (being Nakagawa Blue #1) that it will be a pleasure on the stones.

Buyers should know two things: the choil is incredibly sharp (not so much rounded as "sharpened"), and this is a wide bevel shinogi grind in which the left side (at least on mine) has a visibly wonky bevel. I'll clean it up over time on the stones and enjoy it nonetheless, but the pics had me expecting a convex ground rather than shinogi-ground knife.
