Sakai Takayuki Kasumitogi (White steel) Japanese Chef's Deba Knife 165mm

The Kasumi blade by Sakai Takayuki is a reasonably priced line of traditional forged knives, suitable for both first-time users and more experienced chefs. It is crafted using soft kitchen knife iron on Yasuki's traditional Nihonko or Hagane—Shiroko / White Paper No.3 Steel—a material that has been widely used in Japan for a very long time. This steel is prized for its extreme sharpness, excellent edge retention, and high working hardness, allowing it to be ground to a fine edge that lasts.
