Kei Kobayashi: Master Craftsman from Seki City

At Tokushu, we are proud to carry knives from esteemed blacksmiths like Kei Kobayashi. Before embarking on his journey of crafting kitchen knives, Kobayashi-san was renowned in Seki city as a talented sharpener and polisher, collaborating with some of the region's top blacksmiths. Now, he leads his own line, creating exceptionally thin knives from high-quality SG2 (R2) powdered stainless steel.

The 150mm petty, also known as a sandwich knife in some regions, is Kobayashi-san's masterpiece for all sandwich-making needs. Whether slicing bread, cutting cherry tomatoes, lettuce, or cured meats, this knife handles it all with ease. For those who prioritize precision in their culinary toolkit, the 150mm petty is an indispensable choice.
