Teruyasu Fujiwara Maboroshi Gyuto 195mm
The Teruyasu Fujiwara Maboroshi Gyuto combines a reactive White #1 carbon-steel core with stainless cladding and a Tsuchime finish. This specific knife has a 195mm edge and an included octagonal Ho wood Wa handle with a buffalo horn ferrule.
The blade measures 346mm overall, 52.5mm tall at the heel, and weighs 142g. The stainless cladding covers the blade faces, but the White #1 core remains exposed at the cutting edge and should be washed and dried promptly after use.
For edge care, use a Hasegawa Pro cutting board and maintain the edge with our premium leather strop. Add our professional sharpening service if you would like the edge refined before shipment. For extended storage, apply a light coat of Tsubaki blade oil.
