Gotta Give 5 Stars for the price to performance alone

Hand forged 52100 carbon steel, 68mm tall, 240mm blade for under $100. Had to run it on the 1000 and 5000 stones and strop just a little to get it shaving sharp shape. Been holding that edge ever since. Also had to run some 220 sandpaper on the spine to round it out for comfort. Easy, peasy, Japanesey. Love that they included a blade guard with it. Shipped fast and got here in Hawaii in two days. Top notch service! Mahalo guys!

A sharp knife and well made

When looking at the photos it looks like a brass spacer but it's a light colored wood. This was my mistake for not reading everything properly so no marks off

Fun project!

A little rough around the edges but after some sanding and refinishing on the handle, spine and choil it’s great! Profile is good and the geometry has the right grind to take a razor edge. 52100 is good steel for a knife. If you keep it oiled and keep it sharp, it can’t be beat for $80!
