Dao Vua Sharpening Service

Dao Vua has come a long way since their humble beginnings hammering out recycled leaf springs into usable cutlery. They now import high-quality 52100 steel hardened with a water quench, maximizing hardness, which is quite difficult given the thin monosteel grinds.

We like to present them to you at their very best, so we offer a professional touch-up, ensuring you get excellent out-of-the-box sharpness. Pair this with one of our leather strops and 2 micron sharpening compound, and you will have a long-lasting edge that will serve you well in the kitchen.

Love it!

I have a few high(er) end Japanese knives and have spent hundreds of hours researching them.

I bought a 240mm Tall Gyuto Dao Vua and had it sharpened. I love the knife, it’s rustic but top quality! The sharpening service was great!

This is my first transaction with Tokushuknife, it was a great transaction. I’ll be back for more!
