We are thrilled to introduce the Tokushu Knife SLD Washiji Nakiri curated by the Tokushu Knife team. 

What is special about this? For one, SLD is a personal favorite steel known for being well balanced as far as getting and holding a sharp edge, durability and ease of sharpening. Secondly, just look at the choil shot. The grind pushes past its price point! 

What is Washiji finish?  The finish is made to resemble Japanese Shoji paper, which is traditionally made from mulberry trees and used as a home furnishing in Japan.

There's no way this knife is this good for this price. Just get one.

My copy of this knife was delivered today and it's truly remarkable.
I decided to upgrade the handle to one of Tokushu's ebony and horn offerings and I'm over the moon with this handle. Absolutely perfect pairing with this blade.

The OOTB edge is WICKED. Nine times out of ten I take my new knives to the stones on day one, but there is simply no need with this guy.

I truly don't understand how a knife with a grind like this is being sold for this price. Tokushu has absolustely hit a home run with this offering. If you have any desire for a new Nakiri, get one of these. You simply can't go wrong.
