Few people disagree that this is one of the best finishing stones, period. If you like a 5k satin finish, don’t fret over all the options. This thing is incredible, and an excellent value.

Rika 5K whetstone.

This is my second Rika 5K stone. It’s a fantastic product. I love the feedback of the stone. I will forever have one in my lineup.

Great Last Stone for Kitchen Knives

The Suehiro Rika's 5000 grit finish is high enough to make your knives super sharp, but also not too high where your edge looses its teeth needed to cut slippery tomato skins or bell peppers. I gave it 4 stars because it needs to be soaked for a bit before use. I don't mind soaking the stone, but as a home chef, its a bit of a pain to wait for the stone to completely dry since if you put it away wet it'll get moldy.
