Nano Hone NL-4 130 Micron Lapping Plate
The Nano Hone NL-4 is a fast lapping plate for keeping coarse and medium waterstones flat. Its raised, diamond-coated arrow-rake pattern cuts across the stone while open channels move slurry and swarf away from the working surface.
Nano Hone specifies the NL-4 for waterstones from 110 to 10 micron, roughly the 120 to 1500 grit range. It is not the correct plate for sintered ceramic or diamond resin stones.

What stones can the NL-4 flatten? Use it on waterstones from about 120 to 1500 grit.
Can the NL-4 flatten Nano Hone diamond resin plates? No. Choose an approved button lapping plate such as the NL-10 for diamond resin stones.
How often should I flatten a whetstone? Lap lightly and often so the stone stays flat before a deep hollow develops.

Returns: Eligible purchases may be returned within 180 days with a free prepaid return label. Knives sharpened by Tokushu Knife or fitted with a custom handle remain eligible if they are otherwise new, unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with all included components. The same refund terms apply.
