Miyazaki Kajiya Tsubaki 180mm
About the Blacksmith
Haruki Miyazaki is a young blacksmith from Goto City, Nagasaki in western Japan. He is the fourth generation of the Oba family of blacksmiths based in Fukuoka. During his five years of tutelage under master Toshio Oba, who is known for his Hakata-bocho, Miyazaki-san learned not only how to make good knives, but also how to make them with flair!
At only 35, Haruyuki Miyazaki creates stellar cutlery in his workshop, laminating each knife himself employing traditional Japanese techniques and even forging his own damascus - a skill not often displayed in the Japanese knife market. These knives are truly one of a kind.
