About the Blacksmith
Haruki Miyazaki, a talented blacksmith from Goto City, Nagasaki, Japan, is part of the fourth generation of the Oba family of blacksmiths based in Fukuoka. His unique skills and techniques are a testament to his masterful tutelage under Toshio Oba, known for his Hakata-bocho. At only 35, Miyazaki-san's craftsmanship is truly one-of-a-kind, combining traditional Japanese techniques with modern flair.

This Damascus Ginsan 240mm Gyuto represents Miyazaki-san's meticulous craftsmanship. Combining the qualities of a chef's knife and a vegetable cleaver, the Gyuto is exceptionally versatile. It is missing only a unique custom handle, which we will install for you if you purchase a blade and handle from us.

Returns: Eligible purchases may be returned within 180 days with a free prepaid return label. Knives sharpened by Tokushu Knife or fitted with a custom handle remain eligible if they are otherwise new, unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with all included components. The same refund terms apply.
