Masamoto SW Swedish Steel Kiritsuke 210mm
The Masamoto Sohonten SW Kiritsuke 210mm is a slim, precisely balanced Japanese chef knife built around an acute K-tip profile. Model SW3121KT pairs Masamoto’s Swedish stainless steel with a traditional ho wood wa handle and black water-buffalo horn ferrule.
This double-bevel kiritsuke-style knife delivers the reach of a 210mm chef knife with a fine tip suited to detailed vegetable work, portioning, and clean slicing. Its stainless monosteel construction offers the familiar Masamoto profile with easier daily maintenance than the carbon-steel KS line.
Why It Stands Out
- Swedish stainless steel: Refined, tough, and easier to maintain in a busy kitchen.
- Kiritsuke profile: An acute K-tip provides excellent control for precision cuts and detail work.
- Light, nimble geometry: The measured 142g weight keeps the knife quick and responsive.
- Traditional wa handle: Ho wood with a black water-buffalo horn ferrule gives a secure, lightweight feel.
