Each knife is a product of meticulous craftsmanship, hand-forged by a skilled artisan and then masterfully sharpened by Shibata-san’s team. Masakage offers a wide range of steels, styles, and finishes to cater to the most discerning consumers.

Yuki Series

The Yuki series, forged by Yoshimi Kato, is named for its frosty pear skin finish, reminiscent of a snowy landscape.

Bunka Knife

The Bunka knife is essentially a flat-bellied Santoku with a K-tip (reverse tanto), making it ideal for precision cuts and push/pull cutting rather than rock chopping. At 165mm, it's a versatile and comfortable size for most hands.
