Leather Strop By Tokushu Knife - PREMIUM BUFFALO STROP BLOCK 3" x 8"

If you’ve ever wondered how professional chefs keep their knives sharp between services, sadly the answer is probably honing rods, which improperly used can also damage your knife.

We’re here to offer you something so much better, and if properly taken care of, will last you a very long time. Introducing our high quality vegetable tanned buffalo leather strop. Daily use of this strop is sure to keep your knives sharp. By realigning the steel at the cutting surface at the micro scale, it ensures you keep your knives sharper, longer, before they need to be sharpened. This is a relatively hard leather which is why it’ll be a great daily maintenance companion. Though it can be used for deburring as well.

We are excited to offer these new stone size buffalo strops with plenty of surface area of top quality buffalo leather. This is a very hard leather which underwent a traditional tanning process, resulting in the ability to bring back an edge, even without compound. One side has a smooth surface of high quality, hard, buffalo leather.

Works magic as a stand-alone strop without compound

I bought this strop to apply 6 micron Gunny Juice, but on arrival the leather looked like might work well without compound. After stropping 3-4 knives I'd say the results are almost magical. I get a clean, keen edge using just this strop.
