We are proud to curate this collection of beautiful hardwood handles made from recycled hardwoods. This has two benefits: firstly, we are not contributing to the deforestation of rare wood species, and secondly, the wood has had ample time to dry, which prevents cracking and warping, making for a high-quality handcrafted handle.
Our woodworker is the best in the region, crafting these beautiful handles with exceptional skill. With an extensive knowledge of these wood species and sources, you are receiving an extremely good value on a handcrafted piece of art, made by a skilled artisan, just like the Japanese blade you pair it with.
At Tokushu Knife, we support local craftsmen and traditional work with the same spirit as we do local Japanese Blacksmiths. We believe craftsmen simply make higher quality products, and we are happy to work hand in hand and support each other.

If you prefer to handle the installation yourself, simply specify this and your blade size in the order notes. By default, we take the initiative to select the correct size and professionally install the handle.
