About Nigara Hamono
Nigara Hamono is a renowned name in the world of Japanese craftsmanship. Based in the Aomori prefecture, the company boasts over 350 years of history, originating as swordsmiths before expanding their expertise into other steelwork, including structural beams for buildings. While knives are a smaller part of their production, they are created with unparalleled precision and artistry, combining traditional techniques with modern innovation.
The Aogami Super Tsuchime series showcases Nigara Hamono's mastery. This line features a razor-sharp carbon steel edge and a stunning tsuchime (hammered) finish. The stainless cladding protects the reactive core, making these knives both functional and visually striking.
