NAKAGAWA X MYOJIN Blue #1 Damascus Kasumi Petty 150mm
Forged by the renowned Satoshi Nakagawa, a master blacksmith trained under the legendary Kenichi Shiraki, this Nakagawa X Myojin Petty knife is a testament to the highest level of craftsmanship. Nakagawa-san has mastered the art of forging traditional carbon steels such as Shirogami and Aogami, as well as stainless steels like VG10 and Ginsan. His expertise also extends to forging Honyaki blades, a feat requiring exceptional skill and precision.
The knife’s edge is meticulously sharpened by Naohito Myojin, whose knives are in high demand due to his thin, masterful grinds. As Myojin's work becomes increasingly rare, owning one of these knives is a special opportunity.
Crafted with Aogami #1 (Blue Carbon Steel) and carbon steel cladding, this knife offers excellent sharpness and edge retention. It features a beautiful kasumi finish with a damascus pattern, creating both a functional and visually striking blade. The elegant octagonal ebony handle with a water buffalo horn collar enhances the balance and aesthetic of the knife.
