Yu Kurosaki Senko SG2 Ei Bunka

Yu Kurosaki, a visionary craftsman from Echizen, Fukui Prefecture in Japan, brings forth the exquisite Senko SG2 Ei Bunka knife. This piece not only embodies the traditional art of Japanese blacksmithing but also infuses modern aesthetics and functionality.

Renowned for his daring approach to knife making, Kurosaki combines traditional techniques with contemporary designs. This Bunka knife, known for its versatility, showcases a unique blend of elegance and efficiency.

The blade, a work of art, features a striking hammered tsuchime finish alongside a kyomen, mirror-like polish. This not only adds to the aesthetic but also contributes to the knife's non-stick properties. The R2/SG2 core steel, known for its exceptional edge retention and durability, ensures a long-lasting, sharp edge.

What sets this knife apart is its handle – a beautiful combination of Wenge and Ebony wood, shaped into an octagonal Hachikaku style. The handle is complemented with a kuchiwa of Black Buffalo Horn or Green Pakka Wood, offering a comfortable and secure grip.

I don’t have words to express my gratitude

I ordered a Yu Kurosaki Senko Ei and unfortunately received the Gekko VG version. It could be just returned and replaced and wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t live in Brazil and have already paid customs taxes. Returning and replacing became impossible without more taxes. Once the situation was presented I simply received the right knife without more costs and could keep the first one. I don’t have enough words to express my satisfaction with Tokushu solving this almost unsolvable situation the way they did.

Excellent service when I needed it

I ordered a knife which got lost in delivery. In reaching out to Tokushu, they were very responsive and helpful not just in getting my order back out but even provided a slightly better iteration of the knife since it was what they had in stock.
