This 300mm (11.8") Gyuto from Tsunehisa is a marvel in precision and design. Crafted into an exceptionally thin 2.7mm blade, it's among the thinnest in our range. The knife offers an immaculate "out of the box" sharpness, a laser-thin spine, and excellent balance, providing a lightweight feeling during use.

Constructed entirely from VG-1 steel, this knife showcases the synonymous efficiency and durability of this material. VG-1 steel is incredibly easy to maintain due to its complete stainless nature. Unlike many other knives, this Gyuto is not laminated but made entirely of one steel, being of the so-called "monosteel" construction.

Great Value Big Gyuto

This is a fun knife. If you want a huge gyuto and don't want to go broke, this is a good choice. It's handy for larger food items, and you won't have to worry about the stainless VG-1 steel as much. It's pretty sharp too, and leaves a nice sheen on the food after cutting.
