Moritaka Knives Aogami Super Kiritsuke 210mm

It is no secret that Moritaka Knives produces some of the best knives in the world with their legendary heat treatment. Thirty-one generations of the Moritaka family have built a wealth of knowledge by forging katana swords. Now, they have applied their skills to master a special warikomi forged Aogami Super Steel knife, forged at a low temperature to limit carbon transferring from steel to iron cladding. This helps bring out the best in Aogami Super and is partially responsible for their legendary heat treatment.

For the best out of the box experience we recommend adding on our sharpening service.

I love my Moritaka Hamono Kiritsuke.

When I ordered this knife online, I was very excited. It was my first Japanese knife and I had researched and thought about the purchase for a long time. So much so that this was the only Moritaka 210 kiritsuke I could find anywhere, so when I received a txt from Tom at Toshuku knives saying that there was a mistake and that the knife I wanted was not in stock I was devastated. I agreed that I would wait until the next shipment came in. I received a txt from Tom later in the day telling me that they had found the Moritaka in the storage room and that they would be able to send it to me right away. I was given a gift certificate and a free knife guard. Tokushu knives has made a life long customer with their over the top service. As for my knife, it cuts like a dream, looks fantastic, and makes all the other chefs in the kitchen very jealous. Thank you.
