Great knife if you're looking for a larger nakiri.

I have several Moritaka knives and this is another great choice. They aren't flashy, but the steel treatment holds up and the Aogami Super steel is outstanding for sharpness and edge retention. Great craftsmanship.

Handle is comfortable and standard shape, size. Fitment of handle done well.

Were I feel the 180mm size shines is when doing quantity vegetable prepping/chopping. Just a bit more blade length than the default 165mm, without much more weight penalty. The added blade height can help with hand/knuckle clearance to not bump, smash your knuckles.

Only possible negative is fitting in some knife blocks. The blade height might not allow fitment in some slots. So measure before hand if that's a concern.
