Introducing the Sabaki: Your Go-To Knife for Precision and Versatility
Experience a unique blend of precision and versatility with our Sabaki knife. Boasting a blade height of 33mm, this knife is taller than most Petty knives, offering the performance and feel of a mini Gyuto. Traditionally used for efficiently removing meat from bones (but please avoid cutting through bones!), the Sabaki also excels as a regular Petty for those seeking extra board clearance.
Crafted by Murata-san using Blue #1 Steel, a high carbon steel, this knife requires some care. However, the "black hammer" kurouchi finish significantly reduces maintenance needs, ensuring the knife's longevity.
Renowned for their high performance and impressive edge retention, Murata Buho knives are a testament to quality and craftsmanship. This Sabaki is a perfect example of the breed, offering both functionality and enjoyment.
*Please note that the tips on these knives are ground off at an angle. This is intentional. Refer to the second photo for a clearer view.
