Very nice

Its an amazing knife imo, its sharp out of the box, has a good geometry and looks cool. I cant say anything about its edge retention because i didnt use it enough for that. The colour pattern on the steel lets me question the actual hardness (looks like it got too hot in the middel/top section of the blade)
Aside from that I rly enjoy it, especially for that price

For the price the knife is very good, but with a little work the knife becomes amazing. The handle, blade taper, and balance are great. With an hour of work on the blade to round the spine and choile, then polishing the bevel to show the hamon makes the knife perfect.

Great light cleaver

This is a great knife from Dao Vua - large, sturdy, and sharp without being too thick behind the edge. I wouldn't use this for chopping through pork bones as it's carbon steel and thinner than many cleavers, but the k-tip and thinness allow for a fair amount of detail work and the large blade is excellent for mashing and scooping.

Great knife

This is a well crafted knife at a very good price point.

DAO VUA 52100 kiri cleaver

Really like this knife. My sixth DAO VUA knife. The knife has some "heft" to it as compared a traditional knife which makes chopping large and hard vegetables a breeze. Fairly sharp out of the box but a few minutes on the 3000 grit stone and then stroping with green compound and razor sharp. Being a cleaver the blade a bit thick behind the edge but keep it sharp and it is a really good chopper.

I love this cleaver. Weight is ideal, not too light not too heavy. I have encountered issues with its sharpness, but it is more a problem of a sharpening service I've ordered. No fault of the cleaver itself.
