Tsunehisa Ginsan Series is forged from Ginsan steel ( ~61hrc) and cladded in stainless. The Ginsan or Silver #3 sharpens really beautifully and has great toughness. These blades have a nashiji finish with texture remaining from forging. These come with an excellent out of the box edge.

Magnolia is a soft wood, and feels better burned. We can send them as is or we can char and oil the handles for a unique look that was popularized in Sanjo Japan. Ferrule is made of black pakka wood.
