It's really easy, if you want a kitchen knife that is Damascus clad and captures over 350 years of smithing experience, your road ends at Nigara Hamono. A cutlery and tool shop out of Aomori prefecture in Northern Japan, Nigara Hamono not only has the years of experience to back up their products but is diversified in their crafts also making steel beams for buildings.

When you think of Damascus, I'm sure like all of us you visualize some randomized swirling pattern. This series however, Anmon Kurozome, is nothing but a predictable masterwork. Nigara Hamono sought inspiration from the Anmon Falls also located in Aomori, to produce a Damascus pattern that reminded them of this landscape.
