Our name, Tokushu, meaning "unique" or "special" in Japanese, embodies our brand philosophy. When you see our name on a product, you can be confident that it's truly special and unique. We collaborate with local Japanese craftsmen to produce blades and handles to our exacting standards, and then hand sharpen each knife for unbeatable out-of-the-box sharpness.
