Have you ever seen those fancy Japanese wooden boxes certain knives come in? Those are called kiri wooden boxes. Kiri encompasses a wide variety of hardwoods used for these boxes, but they all do one thing in common: hold your knife in style.

We at Tokushu decided we wanted to offer these exclusive boxes for knives that range all the way up to 240mm. The Tokushu version of these classic boxes has a slotted lid instead of a pull away lid. This increases how snug of a fit the lid is on the box, and we inserted an easy recessed finger tab to make the release of the lid even easier.

Lastly, to bring it up a notch, or did someone say burn it up a notch, the entire box has Shou Shugi Ban (wood burning finish). This protects it from bacterial and fungal infestations as well as give it a more elegant look. On the inside, the Tokushu kiri box has a foam insert so that your prized possession can lay to rest easy.
