Nikša Babić is a Croatian Blacksmith who has surprised us with his depth of knowledge, skill and passion for the art. What originally started as a way to relax each one of Nikša’s creations shows mastery of his skill, and a unique expression of his art. If it is one of his custom blades, or his highly sought after custom knife display stands, we are pleased to be able to offer and stand behind his work.
This 270mm Gyuto is a beast! It starts with a thick spine, and has a long taper to a very sharp edge. The fit finish and polish on this are extraordinary. The finish looks similar to a shizuku pattern. I was pleasantly surprised when we received this knife from Nikša. I don’t think I will be alone in my appreciation for it. Made from 52100 High Carbon Steel.

Nikša does every step on his knives himself, and it is rare to find someone who is great at everything, smithing, handle making, and sharpening. I can't find a flaw with this guys work.
